It was a serious motorcycle accident. The insurer didn't want to pay anything. They offered €11,000. They claimed my injuries were degenerative and pre-existing, hired private investigators, and argued that what I had was invented. At the first trial, the judge ruled against them on part of the damages, but not on the full amount. Irene advised me to carry on and appeal the ruling, and we won almost everything, although a small part remained, which she also advised me to keep fighting for. The case is currently before the Supreme Court. The fact that she only charges a percentage of the compensation has helped me fight for what was rightfully mine. The insurer has already paid out more than €135,000 in compensation.
